Office summary – Valerie Mason: The office is extremely busy with Clam Bake. Tickets sales are going very well. Valerie asked about signage for the front of the building, she’s had several people complain that you can not see the sign because it is so dark. We will get Becky Lowe to look at painting it. Mike Milbourne has also offered to donate a State or American flag to put out front, so the office can be seen better.

Also, Dan Kuebler ordered a lap-top for Valerie. It’s a Dell and cost approx. $500.00. The others in the office will also be able to use it, since it’s 3 people with only one computer.

Events – Virginia Townsend: Virginia has talked with the chair people of each event at Crab Derby and things are going well.

Government – Diane Megonigle: Diane stated that there is going to be a group meeting with the county soon and Diane has asked to be notified, so she can attend. Also, there is an SRP meeting set for Monday, July 23rd at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall.

We appreciate those businesses offering to do the “Business After Hours”.

He asked the board if we want to wait until the end of the year and replace them or do it now. Motion was made by Dan Kuebler to donate what we did last year (which was $900), Tom Shores seconded. No opposed.

Old Business: Pat Carson stated that the money donated toward the Somers Cove Marina Yacht Club was well spent. The children in the sailing school enjoyed it and learned a lot.
